門牆之間Between doors and walls
 

本案坐落在山景與城景之間，意圖透過牆的封閉與門的開闔，創造出不同層次的空間光影與對外景觀。三向（玄關,客廳,主臥）環狀動線的配置，使得空間的鋪陳有“遊於藝”的樂趣。也讓空氣與光線得以流通與通透。在每個結點與端景處，配置屋主私藏的藝術品，讓生活即藝術結合為一。
引室外建築質材入室內：石、木、鐵、玻璃、交映成趣，讓內與外一體成型，門與牆不再是阻隔，更是視覺與心靈的延展！本設計案試圖在觀看中國傳統山水畫“可行、可遊、可居、可望”四個品質之中，思索發展屬於東方的室內空間樣貌。

 

可行
原為兩戶的公寓住家平面，合併後產生兩柱檔在空間中央以及平面不完整的情況，為弱化視覺與使用的障礙，我們在平面中央的前後。配置了玄關與閱讀區的中介空間，以串聯公共空間與私密空間的循環步行動線。

可望
本案基地前後的山景與城景成為第二個考量重點;不似原有的室內將前後景緻一分為二的配置，我們意圖完全開敞，讓光線，空氣及景觀得以通透全室毫無阻礙。

可居
如何讓屋主典藏的藝術品能展於無意，讓大量生活用品能藏於無形，成為本案的第三課題;我們安排多處空間節點與端景處置放及展示物主的收藏，讓藝術與生活結合為一，同時大量的隱藏式的門櫃設計也讓收納更為輕鬆隨意。

可遊
讓戶外的建築外觀與室內的空間連成ㄧ氣,以營造一種屬與東方的空間氛圍;使用與建築外觀相同的材料,但給與拋光或噴塗,以適合較細緻與適當的室內使用,同時,戶外的景緻也成為室內空間的延展,呈現出低調的東方山水韻味！



This apartment is located between city and hills. Intend tocreate several layers of space lights and shadow and outer views by sealedwalls and opened or closed doors. Divided the space into three areas with circled movementand let air and light could go through smoothly.  At the end of each spaces has personal artcollections which make art become a part of daily life and enjoy it. The use of material, stone, wood, steel and glass blend inwith architecture. Doors and walls are not obstacle but the extension of visualand spirite.
This design is inspired by a good traditional Chinese landscape painting that is worthy of a stroll; then some, a view; yet some, a t our; and some, a stay. The result is a space that is inimitably oriental.

STROLL
The owner purchased two units and combined them into one  apartment. As a result, there are two main columns in the center of the apartment and the floor was uneven. To reduce the visual disruption and work around the uneven floor, we create intermediate spaces of a foyer and reading area to enclose the middle space, as well as establish circulation around the common and private quarters.

VIEW
The second challenge in the project is to take both natural landscape and cityscape into consideration. Instead of adopting the original binary design of the space that divided the front and back views, we open up the entire space to allow light, air and view to be enjoyed from every corner of the apartment.

STAY
Finding suitable spots to display the owner’s personal art collection in a casual and unobtrusive way is the third challenge in this project. We arrange the art pieces in various niches around the apartment to make art a part of daily life and enjoyment. We also design many invisible closets to ensure neatness of the space while giving capacity for storage.

TOUR
To coordinate architectural appearance and inner space for an atmosphere liken to Eastern culture, we adopt the same material used for the architectural building, but treat with polish or paint to make it more delicate and suitable for the interior space. Meanwhile, the interior space becomes an extension of the external environment, showing the subtle elegance unique to Chinese landscape designs.
