回歸山水Retreating to a rustic life
陶淵明 歸居田園：『少無適俗韻，性本愛丘山，誤落塵網間，一去三十年』，儘管時光推移到了進步的現代，仍有著大批懷抱夢想的人們走進喧擾的城市，但當快速的步伐帶來心靈的寂寥，不免生發出一種希望回歸山水之意，體會生命之初歲月靜好，怡然自得的快樂。
推開大門，透光回字紋屏風揭示著回歸的祝福之意，希望主人們在踏入屋內時，心中能有復得返自然的暢快。入門玄關深色門拱與光面大理石構築出一條回歸山水的隧道，輕輕穿過便能見到眼前地毯將窗外淡水河的粼粼波光從帶進腳下，公共空間是寧靜的一面淺灘，兩端牆面相互呼應，一明一暗，模擬著日夜交替的過程，圓形茶几便是大石，立燈則依著和煦陽光垂釣著春日的自然美好。
垂直與水平的空間線條，構築出了漸層回字造型，區隔著不同的使用機能，餐廳區弧形吊燈生動了空間的語彙，兩幅掛畫巧秒地引入戶外的一抹霞彩，仿佛日日能有夕陽佐餐，吧台底端重現了屏風的回字紋，夾紗玻璃若隱若現地揭示著書香氣息。
臥室空間由三種顏色區分：秋分金黃帶橙的菊花，穩重貴氣的質感，閃閃的細金蔥像是室內金燦燦的陽光；夏末翠綠清新的荷葉，散發活潑大方的氣質，恍若置身荷花池畔，周圍一身清雅；冬至湛藍深邃的天空，是萬物休生養息時，與天地最美的邂逅，用每個季節中最美的色彩，勾勒生活回歸山水間時的美好樣貌。
『戶庭無塵雜，虛室有餘閑。久在樊籠裏，復得返自然。』出於天性對於山水的愛，踏進這樣「無塵雜」且「有餘閑」的空間氛圍，享受此等難得的自在灑脫，更深深共鳴的心底對回歸山水最深的渴望。
In his poem “Retreating to a rustic life,” Tao Yuanming wrote, “Never had I a worldly disposition; Born with an innate love for landscapes and mountains; unwittingly I have fallen into the earthly trap; For thirty years there I’ve been strapped.” Here we are in the modern times, yet so many of us continue to dive into the hustle bustle of urbane life in seek dreams. There are times, however, when our souls are overwhelmed by the fast pace of life, we cannot help but yearn to return to nature to find happiness, freedom and quiet time.
Opening the door, one is greeted by the open arms of a translucent screen with rectangular spiral patterns that symbolize blessings of homecoming. It is hoped that the inhabitants can feel the joy of returning to nature once stepping inside their home. In the foyer the dark arch and glossy marble form a tunnel leading to the scenery inside, where the carpet ushers in the glistening ripples of Tamsui River. The common area acts as a quiet shoal, the round low table a strong rock, and the standing lamp bows its head like the gentle sun fishing for a fine spring day.
The horizontal and vertical lines dividing the space by function converge to create layers of rectangular spiral patterns. The end of the dining table reveals the same language as the screen, subtly accentuating the cultural ambience. The bedrooms are distinguished by three different colors: golden chrysanthemums with tinges of autumn orange, verdant lotus leaves before summer’s end, and the crystal blue sky unique to mid-winter. Filled with the finest seasonal colors, the house sings to the beauty of returning to mountain, water and nature.
